Text and files you convert

Every conversion tool on this site — text, Word, PDF, and Excel — runs entirely inside your own browser using JavaScript. The content you type, paste, or upload is never transmitted to our servers or any third party, and is discarded automatically the moment you close or reload the page.

Email verification for higher limits

If you choose to verify your email address to raise your free usage limits, we use it to send a one-time verification code and to issue a signed, expiring token that raises your limits in your browser's local storage. We also keep a record of your email address (and your name, if you choose to give one — it's optional) to prevent abuse of the free-tier unlock and to maintain a record of verified addresses. We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell or share your email address or name with third parties. Contact us any time to have your record deleted.

Contact form

If you write to us through the Contact page, we use the name, email address and message you provide only to respond to you — that message is sent directly to our inbox by email and is not stored in any separate database on our side.

Cookies and local storage

The site uses your browser's local storage to remember your usage counters and, if applicable, your verified status — this data stays on your device and is never sent to us. See our Cookie Policy for full details on cookies used by advertising and analytics providers.

Advertising

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense and/or the Yandex Advertising Network. These third-party providers may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure their performance; both providers operate their own privacy policies and offer ad-personalisation controls, linked below.

Analytics

Where enabled, this site uses Google Analytics and/or Yandex Metrica to understand how visitors use it — which pages and tools are popular, where visitors come from, and general device/browser information. These services may set cookies and use similar technologies, and we enable IP anonymisation where the service supports it.

If Yandex Metrica's optional session-recording feature (Webvisor) is ever enabled, every text field on this site — every tool's input and output box, the email field, any password field — is explicitly excluded from what Webvisor records, at the markup level, site-wide. A session recording can show that you used a tool, but never the text you typed into it.

Your choices

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove usage counters and verification status. You can manage ad personalisation directly through Google's Ads Settings and Yandex's advertising preference tools, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's official browser add-on.
